This week the European Tour heads to Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 2: Luke Donald: The former world No. 1 is still searching for his old form, but he's played well at the BMW PGA in the past (T-3 last year).
Group 3: David Howell: The Englishman has finished runner-up in his last two starts and tied for fourth the week before that in China.
Group 1: Rory McIlroy: No reason to bench him right now. McIlroy is playing well, and as we saw last summer sometimes those hot streaks can stretch across continents.
Group 2: Luke Donald: Donald needs a spark, and it just might come this week at a course where he won in 2011 and 2012, was second in 2010 and tied for third a year ago.
Group 3: David Howell: Howell has back-to-back runner-up finishes to his credit, including a week ago in Spain, and he won this event in 2006.
Group 4: Robert Rock: The Englishman has top-30 finishes in each of his last two starts, and three of his last four, and his Wentworth credentials include a T-16 finish in 2009 and a T-21 finish in 2012.
Group 1: Justin Rose: Has a victory and a second-place finish in his last three starts. Wentworth should suit his overall game if he can hold off McIlroy.
Group 2: Shane Lowry: A return to Wentworth should right his form. He's had finishes of second and T-4 at BMW PGA.
Group 3: Pablo Larrazabal: His game works well at Wentworth, T-7 and T-12 in his last two starts there.
Group 4: Matteo Manassero: Going with the guy who won at Wentworth two years ago in this group.
