CBS: Masters final-round coverage up 23 percent

The TV ratings for the final-round of the Masters were up 23 percent over last year, according to a release from CBS.

Jordan Spieth's march to history earned a 9.6 rating with a 22 share, peaking between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., the final half hour of the telecast, with an 11.5 and a 22.

Saturday's coverage, featuring a resurgent Tiger Woods, didn't attract as many viewers, drawing a 6.5 rating and a 16 share, but did represent a 48 percent increase over last year.

Ft. Myers, Fla., finished as the top metered in market in the country for Masters viewing on Sunday, with a 15.1 rating and a 27 share.
