Update - December 18 (10:35 A.M. ET): Jason Day's agent, Bud Martin, issued a statement on behalf of the Day family, saying that although Ellie is "suffering from concussion symptoms," she is "resting comfortably and appreciates all of those who have reached out and are concerned about her."

And it looks like there are no hard feelings as the statement concludes with a "Go Cavs."

Update - December 18 (8:30 A.M. ET): According to the Associated Press, Ellie Day appears to be OK and was released from the hospital early Friday morning after a scary collision with NBA superstar Lebron James as she sat courtside with her husband Jason at last night Cleveland Cavaliers-Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game.

For his part, James appeared shaken up about the ordeal after the game as well.

"I squeezed her hand and she said she was OK," he said. "She was just a little weary. "For me, obviously, her health is very important and hopefully she is doing well. The guys told me she's doing great now. For me, just going for a loose ball, tried to keep the possession going, I just hate that that was the end result."

James followed up a short while later with a personal apology and an invitation to another game:
