Bryson DeChambeau was given a sponsor's invitation to compete in the Genesis Open. He was on his way to a fourth consecutive missed cut on the PGA Tour when he withdrew after 28 holes, because of a hand injury.
Fellow rookie Grayson Murray was not impressed.
Hey @PGATOUR there should be a rule if you get a sponsor invite and withdraw after 28 holes your not allowed any other invites rest of year— Grayson Murray (@GraysonMurray) February 17, 2017
Murray missed the cut, shooting 72-77.
