India’s Aditi Ashok is among four Olympians scheduled to tee it up in Thursday’s start of the first stage of LPGA Q-School.
So are Mariah Stackhouse and Lauren Kim, who led Stanford to the NCAA Championship last year.
They’re among 347 players scheduled to compete on the Dinah Shore, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player courses at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho, Mirage, Calif. The field will be trimmed to the top 130 and ties after 54 holes with the top 90 and ties at Sunday’s end of play advancing to second stage. The final stage is scheduled Dec. 1-5 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The other Olympians joining Ashok are Hong Kong’s Tiffany Chan, Morocco’s Maha Haddioui and Malaysia’s Michelle Koh.
