Kisner reinstated at Palmetto after cart-racing ban

It looks like Kevin Kisner has been welcomed back to his home club.

Kisner has a house just steps away from the fairways and greens at Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C., and he has been a longstanding club regular. But after filming a video with several friends depicting an "off day" at Palmetto - complete with some cart racing down one of the holes - Kisner and others who appeared in the video were reportedly suspended from Palmetto last month.

After missing the cut last week at Quail Hollow, Kisner told the Myrtle Beach Sun News that he is now once again in good standing with the club.

"I'm back in," he said. "It was short-lived after we had a few discussions and cooler heads prevailed, I think. I haven't been there, but I'm allowed in."

Kisner is still looking to rekindle the form he displayed last year, when he won the RSM Classic and lost in three other playoffs. One of those overtime defeats occurred at the Players Championship, where Kisner will tee it up this week having finally put the alleged cart-racing suspension behind him.

"It was super odd," he said. "I was totally blindsided by it. I think we've learned and we'll move past it."
