Dustin Johnson's return to the PGA Tour remains unknown, but one thing is certain: he's been getting plenty of on-course reps.
LPGA player Danielle Kang was at Sherwood Country Club in California earlier this week, the former site of the Hero World Challenge, and tweeted a video of her round with brother Alex. She also posted a video of Johnson, adding the caption, "Now this swing is just on another level."
Johnson hasn't played on the PGA Tour since the RBC Canadian Open in July, taking a leave of absence for "personal challenges" that Golf.com reported was a six-month, PGA Tour-imposed drug suspension. He and fiancee Paulina Gretzky are expecting their first child this month, and Johnson has announced that he will not return to action until after the child's birth.
Johnson's time off may soon be ending, though. If the reports of a six-month suspension are accurate, Johnson would be eligible for a return in February, and Golf Channel insider Tim Rosaforte has reported that Johnson is eyeing a return at next month's Farmers Insurance Open.
