7:15PM: We leave you with a final look at the leaderboard. Join us bright and early for continued updates on Rd. 2 of the PGA Championship.

7:09PM: And in case you're curious about the third round:

7:02PM: Live look at the beautiful Whistling Straits.

6:54PM: And that does it. Play will resume tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. ET.

6:51PM: Wind whipping in the 50s. Lightning coming down. Sounds bad.

6:45PM: Is this bad?

6:37PM: On the bright side we're still well ahead of the time elapsed during the last weather delay we had in a major. Not naming any names, Open Championship.

6:28PM: Jason Day with a beauty into the 15th green ... and the horn blows. Weather is looking nasty. Could be a while, or not. We'll see.

6:28PM: Jason Day with a beauty into the 15th green ... and the horn blows. Weather is looking nasty. Could be a while, or not. We'll see.

6:26PM: Obligatory Tiger update. Good news is the cut line has moved to 2 over.

6:12PM: When it rains Australians playing well ... it pours.

6:03PM: DJ makes bogey at No. 13 to drop back to 6 under, while playing partner Jason Day makes birdie and moves into the solo lead at 9 under.

5:58PM: This guy will be playing the weekend. Tiger Woods? Probably not.

5:55PM: Eeeep!

5:50PM: Jason Day is now a co-leader alongside fellow Aussie (no, not Adam Scott) Matt Jones at 8 under, after a birdie at the par-3 12th. Just who is this Matt Jones guy?

5:37PM: Stay with us, here ... Matt Jones is now your solo leader at 8 under. DJ just made bogey and is 7 under. Jason Day just made birdie and is now 7 under as well.

5:34PM: Tiger 3 off the projected cut line.

5:24PM: Word on the ground is that black clouds are quickly approaching. Storms looming at Whistling Straights.

5:16PM: We have a solo leader! After back-to-back birdies, DJ is out front by one. He's 8 under with eight holes to play in his second round.

5:01PM: After a bogey for DJ at No. 8 to drop out of the lead, he made birdie at No. 9 to get right back to 7 under and co-leads the PGA Championship.

4:57PM: A closer look at how Hiroshi Iwata shot that ho-hum (yeah right!) 63 on Friday at Whistling Straits.

4:54PM: The only PGA club professional under par is Brian Gaffney, thanks in large part to shots like this:

4:53PM: We know a guy who knows a guy who knows Tiger Tracker's real identity. Sooooo, for the right price...

4:49PM: Everyone loves Chubby Chandler ... even Niall Horan! (Yeah, something like that.)

4:44PM: PGA Tour rookie Tony Finau is off to a hot start, 1 off the lead.

4:37PM: ICYMI, here's DJ at the par-3 seventh that set him up for birdie and got him into a tie for the lead.

4:35PM: And for those of you wondering what Tiger Woods is doing...

4:33PM: We think they deserve some Golf Channel PGA Championship Tracker love, too.

4:31PM: Count 'em boys and girls:

4:27PM: Add Russell Henley to the list of co-leaders at 7 under after a birdie at No. 1 (his 10th hole of the day). Meanwhile, DJ did tap in for birdie on No. 7 and is also tied for the lead.

4:22PM: DJ nearly makes ace on the par-3 7th, but will have about a foot for birdie and to tie the lead.

4:17PM: Move over fellow Aussie Matt Jones! Jason Day makes birdie at the par-4 sixth and is now tied for the lead at 7 under.

4:16PM: Spot the differences between the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the world through two rounds at Whistling Straits:

4:12PM: Golf is so mainstream ... even GQ Magazine is tweeting about the PGA Championship.

4:08PM: We have another co-leader in case you missed it. Matt Jones is off to a hot start in Round 2.

4:00PM: Dustin Johnson survives some poor course management at the par-5 fifth. After taking it over the lake on the right and failing to reach the fairway for the second straight day, he hacked out from a bad lie, ran his second shot through the fairway, and found the hazard. Dropped and got up and down for par, but that's not a good par.

3:50PM: Tiger Woods gives back those two birdies with a double bogey at No. 4 after playing from one greenside bunker to another. Back to even today, 3 over for the week and outside the cut line.

3:42PM: Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy are separated by four strokes and exactly the same number of failed up-and-downs and misses from inside 10 feet.

3:35PM: Back-to-back birdies for Tiger Woods, who is 2 under through three holes. Stuffed his approach at the par-3 third to inside four feet.

3:28PM: Daly's club has been recovered by a young fan on a boat. They called in a diver to get Rory's 3-iron at Doral.

3:20PM: Tiger with a birdie at the par-5 second to get to 1 under for the day and right on the 2-over cut line.

3:17PM: John Daly just chucked his club into his Lake Michigan after hitting three balls into it at the par-3 seventh en route to a 10.

3:10PM: Tracker is floating in a most peculiar way. Will Tiger's game look any different today? One off the plus-2 cut at the moment.

3:07PM: Unlikely either of these two guys needs much Golf Fix-ing.

3:00PM: We hear he's big in Wisconsin.

2:55PM: 1 ... 2 ... 3...

2:47PM: Jordan Spieth on his relationship with Rory McIlroy: "We hate each other. It's very challenging to talk to him."

2:40PM: The rapper or the Dutch graphic artist?

2:37PM: A non-plussed Rory McIlroy sums up his second consecutive round of 1-under 71, saying he's "just not as sharp with the short game as I'd like to be." An eagle, two birdies, a bogey and a double bogey for the world No. 1 in Round 2.

2:30PM: Now on the tee, please welcome the 1999, 2000, 2006 and 2007 PGA Champion - Tiger Woods! And he blows it left, into the rough.

2:20PM: Day, DJ and Rickie are off. Ten to Tiger.

2:18PM: Jordan Spieth came up an inch short in his bid to join Lingmerth at 7 under. Taps in for a par at No. 9 and 5-under 67. A look at the board as DJ prepares to retake the course and the lead.

2:15PM: He has a way with words. Must have started drinking early today.

2:10PM: We have a new leader. David Lingmerth just jarred a 35-footer on 18 to shoot 2-under 70 and move to 7 under through two rounds.

2:05PM: Perspective.

2:00PM: Exactly 30 minutes to Big Cat. Will this be the last time we see him this season?

1:54PM: This will soon be somewhere in the Whistling clubhouse.

His card from Thursday won't be:

1:50PM: Hiroshi Iwata is the latest name to join the 63 club. Iwata missed the green at 18 and got up and down tie the record for the lowest round in major championship history and set the course record at Whistling Straits.

1:37PM: Look out Johnny Miller! Hiroshi Iwata is 9 under through 17. A birdie on 18 would give him the first round of 62 in major championship history.

1:35PM: Henrik Stenson makes his first bogey of the day after playing his first 15 holes with eight birdies and without a dropped shot.

1:25PM: McIlroy and Spieth birdie the short par-4 6th. Spieth (6 under) is tied for the lead with Lingmerth (who bogeyed 15) and DJ, while McIlroy (-3) is three back.

1:18PM: Stenson is on fire. He is now 8 under on the day after birdies on 5 and 6, three off the lead, and still has three holes left.

1:08PM: Three birdies in a row for Lingmerth. He's back to 7 under and leads by one over DJ.

1:05PM: Heck of a round from Coetzee ...

12:49PM: Lingmerth is back. He's rebounded with birdies on 12 and 13 for a share of the lead with DJ and Coetzee.

12:48PM: Billy Horschel birdies 10 and 11 to reach 5 under. He's one off the lead.

12:41PM: Holy smokes, George Coetzee! He's tied for the lead after an eagle on 16 and a birdie on 17. He's 8 under for the day.

12:33PM: Spieth birdies par-3 3rd to move one stroke off the lead held by DJ at 6 under. Piercy bogeys par-4 8th to drop out of a share of the lead.

12:17PM: McIlroy chips in on par-5 2nd and he's back in the mix at 2 under par, four off the lead.

12:02PM: Spieth birdies No. 1 and moves to 4 under. He's only two behind Piercy and DJ.

11:53AM: Lingmerth closes out his front nine double bogey-bogey-bogey. He's 4 under, two off the lead.

11:51AM: Here is Spieth holing out of a bunker on 18 ...

11:45AM: Justin Thomas is now 5 under on the day and only one off the lead. So is 2009 PGA champion Y.E. Yang after birdies on Nos. 11 and 12.

11:41AM: Wow! Spieth holes bunker shot on 18 and makes the turn at 3 under, now three off the lead. McIlroy makes a double to drop back to even par.

11:31AM: Lingmerth's slide continues. After a double on 7, he bogeys 8 to drop to 5 under. Piercy birdies 5 and shares the lead at 6 under with DJ.

11:23AM: Here comes Henrik ...

11:14AM: Three pars for Friday's Big 3. Spieth and McIlroy remain at 2 under. Z. Johnson stays at even.

11:09AM: Disaster for Lingmerth. He makes double bogey at the par-3 seventh to drop back to 6 under. He's now tied with Dustin Johnson, while Spieth and McIlroy are just four back.

11AM: Spieth and McIlroy both make birdie at the par-5 16th. They get to 2 under, six off the lead. Z. Johnson makes par and remains at even par.

10:52AM: A handful of players are 4 under for the day, but it's currently Koumei Oda who has the best round. He's 6 under through 12 holes. Unfortunately, he opened in 79 so he's only 1 over for the tournament.

10:40AM: Six holes, six pars for Rory. Spieth also pars the 15th. But not Zach. Johnson makes his fourth birdie of the day to reach even par for the tournament.

10:35AM: Who is David Lingmerth? In a nutshell:

10:25AM: Rory and Jordan par the 14th, while Zach makes his first bogey of the round.

10:23AM: Lingmerth birdies the par-5 fifth. He's now two clear of the field at 8 under.

10:20AM: Only one of the 20 club pros in this week's field is currently inside the cut line: Brian Gaffney at 1 under.

10:15AM: How important is having the 36-hole lead? Using recent majors as an indicator, very.

10:06AM: Three pars for the marquee group at No. 13 McIlroy and Spieth are at 1 under; Z. Johnson is at even.

10:03AM: Here's a look at how Lingmerth passed Dustin Johnson for the solo lead:

9:55AM: Lingmerth is the outright leader. He birdies the par-3 third to reach 7 under.

9:53AM: Dropped shot for Spieth at No. 12. But it's another birdie for Z. Johnson. He's back to even par after a trio of birdies to start his round. Par for McIlroy.

9:46AM: A look at Spieth's birdie putt at the par-5 11th:

9:44AM: In case you're wondering how Mickelson could make double bogey at 10 ...

9:39AM: Spieth birdies the par-5 11th to get to 2 under. McIlroy makes par to stay at 1 under, while Z. Johnson starts birdie-birdie to reach 1 over.

9:30AM: Oh, Phil. Mickelson makes double on his opening hole. Drops to 2 over for the tournament.

9:27AM: Friday's weather forecast calls a high of 90 degrees with a 20-percent chance of rain throughout the day. Winds should be steady between 8-10 miles per hour.

9:20AM: Z. Johnson birdies the 10th, his first hole, to get to 2 over par. McIlroy and Spieth both make pars to remain at 1 under.

9:17AM: David Lingmerth birdies the first and ties for the lead at 6 under.

9:15AM: Phil Mickelson is on the 10th tee, ready to begin his second round after an opening, even-par 72.

9:05AM: Spieth, McIlroy and Johnson are off and running in Round 2. Three good tee shots to begin.

8:57AM: Spieth will again have some familiar faces in the gallery - and he better perform.

8:52AM: Well, fun while it lasted: Stricker bogeys the third to drop back to 2 under for the tournament. Justin Thomas, meanwhile, eagled the par-5 11th and is 2 under for the event.

8:40AM: Watch out now! Cheesehead Steve Stricker is 2 under through two on the day, 3 under for the event.

8:25AM: Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Zach Johnson go out at 9:05 a.m. ET. David Lingmerth, who opened in 67, is out at 8:55.
