In some potentially bad news for the United States, Rory McIlroy has apparently picked up where he left off at the Tour Championship.
The FedEx Cup champion propelled himself to an $11.53 million payday last weekend thanks in large part to an eagle hole-out from the 16th fairway in Sunday’s final round.
And while getting in some last-minute practice on Thursday before the start of the Ryder Cup, McIlroy ruined the hole at the par-5 sixth for everybody else.

McIlroy owns a 5-4-5 record in Ryder Cup play. Europe is a perfect 3-0 with him on the team since 2010.
