RSS

Jordan SpiethHILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Wednesday at the RBC Heritage didn’t go much better than Sunday at the Masters for Jordan Spieth.

Spieth, who tied for second place last week at Augusta National, was about midway through his pro-am round at Harbour Town Golf Links when one of his amateur partners hit a wayward shot that struck the 20-year-old on the left leg.

Spieth said he was suffering no ill effects from either the errant shot or his Masters near miss.

Spieth tees off at 12:40 p.m. ET Thursday in the first round, alongside five-time Heritage winner Davis Love III and 2014 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson.
