McIlroy: Second major would mean even more

Rory McIlroy made a big statement with his first major championship win, taking the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional CC by eight shots.
The Ulsterman thinks a second triumph, coming as soon as next week at Royal Lytham and St. Annes in the British Open, would mean even more.
"There's been a lot of guys that's won one major, but to be able to call yourself a multiple major champion is something that not a lot of people get to do," McIlroy said to Sky Sports. "So I think the second one would mean more to me than the first."
A second major win would put the world No. 2 in the company of 76 others players to have at least that many majors on their resume. The British Open may be the most unlikely of the four majors for McIlroy to win, however. He bemoaned the influence weather had on the championship at Royal St. Georges last year.
"I'm not a fan of golf tournaments that the outcome is predicted so much by the weather," said McIlroy. "It's not my sort of golf."
"My game is suited for basically every golf course and most conditions, but these conditions I just don't enjoy playing in really. That's the bottom line. I'd rather play when it's 80 degrees and sunny and not much wind."
