Fitzpatrick celebrates first win at Subway

Matthew Fitzpatrick won his first event as a pro on Sunday, taking home the trophy at the British Masters. But apparently someone forgot to tell him about the $763,912 first-place check that comes with it, because he celebrated as if he was Happy Gilmore getting suspended from the tour, with a Subway sandwich.

The European Tour posted this photo of the 21-year-old Fitzpatrick making the classic "OMG I just got caught at a Subway" face, while waiting in line as a sandwich artist does his thing behind the counter.

Fitzpatrick isn't the only golfer to "enjoy" a questionable victory meal. Bubba Watson celebrated his 2014 Masters win at Waffle House and Phil Mickelson famously took his green jacket through the drive-through at Krispy Kreme in 2010.
