Kaymer's caddie loses big at credit card roulette


Some caddies make more money than players, nowadays. But none want to get stuck with a bill … paying for other caddies’ dinners … at Ruth’s Chris.

Such was Craig Connelley’s unfortunate luck on Tuesday night in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

For the unitiated, credit card roulette involves everyone at the table putting a card into a hat (or something of that nature). A third party, such as a server, will then blindly draw a card. Depending on game rules, either the name on the first card pulled pays for everyone or the name on the last card remaining does. 

Connelley caddies for 2014 Players (and U.S. Open) champion Martin Kaymer, so the combo of dinner and drinks didn’t break him. 

But, still …
