Stephen Curry had himself a weekend.
Before dunking phenomenon and part-time golfer Zach LaVine stole the show Saturday night, and before no one watched the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors point guard topped LeBron James as the leading All-Star vote-getter and then demolished the field in the Three-Point Contest, scoring 27 points in the final round to beat out his teammate, and fellow "Splash Bro," Klay Thompson for the title.
While that trophy will look plenty nice in his growing collection of hardware, the avid golfer will probably get more use out of his new custom putter, courtesy of Bettinardi Golf.
Curry's whirlwind weekend has been immortalized on one of Bettinardi's BB Zero blade putters, complete with his name and number, Golden State colors and an homage to his fan vote victory. Hopefully we will get a closer look at it this NBA offseason during a pro-am or two.
The standard BB series putter retails for $299.99, but we have a feeling Curry may think his is more along the lines of priceless.
