Play The All-New Golf Channel Bracket Challenge!
Starting February 18th, for the first time in Fantasy Challenge history, Golf Channel is offering you the opportunity to play a complete bracket game for the WGC Accenture Match Play.
Here's How:
Click on "Make Picks" to view the brackets.
Each of the four brackets will be filled out for Round 1.
1. Bobby Jones Bracket
2. Ben Hogan Bracket
3. Gary Player Bracket
4. Sam Snead Bracket
Pick the player you believe will be the match up winner from Round 1 all the way to the Championship Match. See 2012 example here.
The user with the most points at the end of the tournament wins a trip for two to the 2014 WGC Accenture Match Play. Top 64 on the leaderboard will also walk away with a one-of-a-kind set of Golf Channel head covers!
FAQ:
I’m not playing Fantasy Challenge but I want to participate.
There’s still time to sign up for Fantasy Challenge here. You do not have to be a previous Fantasy Challenge user to participate.
Everyone who competes in the Bracket Challenge will have an equal opportunity to win prizes. You’ll get an email the week of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship reminding you to play in the Bracket Challenge.
Note: If you have already registered your email with GolfChannel.com or GolfNow.com, you can use that login information to sign in to Fantasy Challenge.
I play Fantasy every week. Why is this week different?
For the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship, you will not pick 4 golfers as you have in the past. Instead you will fill out a full bracket and accumulate points based on who moves forward. See Official Rules for more information on points, how they are accumulated and how they will be applied to your Fantasy Challenge monies won.
Will you be giving away the regular Fantasy prizes this week as well?
No. The trip and head covers will be the only prizes. Regular gift card prizing will resume the following week with The Honda Classic.
What if I enjoy Bracket Challenge and want to keep playing Fantasy Challenge? Aren’t I at a disadvantage?
No! Each week is a new chance to win and the whole year is broken up in to segments. Prizes are awarded at the end of each of those segments and you only have to play two(2) out of the three(3) segments to be in the running for the Grand Prize.
