Euro tour's Willett may add PGA Tour membership

AUGUSTA, Ga. – In 2015 Danny Willett posted four top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a third-place showing at the WGC-Dell Match Play, and enough FedEx Cup points to take up membership but decided against it.

Following Sunday’s victory at the Masters, a come-from-behind masterpiece thanks to a closing 67 and Jordan Spieth’s epic collapse, he will likely revisit that decision.

Willett doesn’t plan to play again until The Players, followed by the Irish Open and BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour and then the U.S. Open.

His victory, however, comes with a five-year Tour exemption and sources inside Willett’s camp indicated he would consider taking up dual membership.
