Baycurrent Classic 2026: Odds, favorites for Yokohama Country Club

Is there a better week on the PGA Tour schedule for Xander Schauffele than this one?

He won the Baycurrent Classic last October in the country where his mother grew up, with many of his extended family members present to support him. He closed with a 64 to beat Max Greyserman by a shot and end a 15-month winless drought.

Oddsmakers expect more of the same. Schauffele opened as a clear favorite over the 72-player field at Yokohama Country Club. At +940 he is the only one on the board under 10-1.

Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama is playing on home turf and is second in the odds. The 2021 Masters champion won this event that same fall, back when it was the Zozo Championship.

Here’s how DraftKings priced the top of the board early in the week.

Baycurrent Classic: Familiar names further down

Greyserman finished second here in 2024 and again last year. He is still chasing his first PGA Tour win, and DraftKings has him at +5600 to win and +385 for a top 10.

Thorbjornsen was third a year ago as a rookie. Takumi Kanaya, who tied for fourth last fall, is +10000. Nico Echavarria won the 2024 edition at Narashino and sits at +9200.

Baycurrent Classic: Top-10 prices

Schauffele is the only player priced as a favorite to finish inside the top 10, at -110. Matsuyama (+128), Clark (+138) and Morikawa (+142) are next.

Baycurrent Classic: What’s at stake

There is no cut, so all 72 players play four rounds. The $8 million purse comes with 500 FedExCup points for the winner, and the event is the third of eight in the FedExCup Fall. Yokohama plays as a par 71 at 7,322 yards.

Tom Kim withdrew after winning gold at the Asian Games. The longest price on the board belongs to amateur Koshin Nagasaki at +350000. He got in by winning the Hideki Matsuyama Amateur Challenge.
