Rickie Fowler made three birdies, four bogeys, two doubles and a triple on Thursday for a first-round 80 at the Masters. Fowler summed up the outing rather succinctly after the round:
“Golf,” he said."No, obviously golf is tough, and it’s a fine line, especially at this place. It can go either way, and it definitely can go to the other way, the high-number way, a lot easier than it can the low.”
He furthered his post-round comments on Twitter, poking fun at this himself before, unfortunately, taking time to respond to online critics:

I was always taught if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all...seems simple...life is short #BePositive
