Davis Love III’s mother, Penta, suffered a “mild stroke” on Monday and is being treated in a hospital near her home in St. Simons Island, Ga.
Love withdrew from this week’s OHL Classic at Mayakoba to be at home with his mother and is scheduled to host next week’s RSM Classic at Sea Island (Ga.) Resort.
According to a statement released by RSM Classic officials, Penta Love is “resting comfortably.”
