In the wake of Arnold Palmer’s passing Sunday night, just about everyone in the golf world took to social media to pay their respects to one of the most iconic figures in the history of the sport.
That includes President Barack Obama, an avid golfer, who tweeted, “Here’s to The King who was as extraordinary on the links as he was generous to others. Thanks for the memories, Arnold.”
Obama’s tweet was accompanied by a photo of Palmer watching the POTUS practice his putting in the White House.
