Spieth tosses out first pitch before Red Sox game

Thumbnail

With the PGA Tour in the Boston area for the Deutsche Bank Championship, Jordan Spieth showed up at Fenway Park Tuesday night and threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Red Sox-Yankees game. Wearing injured Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia’s No. 15, Spieth, a natural lefthander (think of him as the anti-Mickelson), blooped one in high and outside, but compared to some other ceremonial first-pitch throwers, he was a veritable Sandy Koufax.
