The "Most Interesting Man in Golf" is at it again.
Miguel Angel Jimenez wowed the crowd at the Open de Espana, holing a 6-iron from 168 yards at the par-3 eighth for a hole-in-one. The ace led to a celebratory dance like only Jimenez can offer:
The shot earned Jimenez a prize of 288 beers, and it was his second ace of the season - recall a similar celebration when the Spaniard made a hole-in-one in Abu Dhabi in January. It was also his ninth hole-in-one on the European Tour, tying Colin Montgomerie for the circuit's all-time record.
The ace helped Jimenez climb the leaderboard in Barcelona, where he is hoping to successfully defend his title. After an outward half of 4-under 32 highlighted by the hole-in-one, Jimenez moved to 4 under for the week, two shots behind Ricardo Gonzalez.
