Villegas still undecided about Olympics

There may still be some changes in store for the 60-man field at the upcoming Olympics.

The International Golf Federation released a list of 60 Olympic qualifiers Monday during a press conference at Royal Troon, and included on the list was Colombia's Camilo Villegas. But Villegas released a statement last week indicating that he was on the fence about playing in Rio, both out of concerns tied to the Zika virus and because his PGA Tour card remains in jeopardy.

Villegas' two-year exemption for winning the 2014 Wyndham Championship expires next month, and he is currently 141st in the FedEx Cup standings. While IGF director Anthony Scanlan confirmed Villegas' participation when asked about it directly during Monday's press conference, Villegas took to Twitter to clarify his current stance:

Villegas is in the field this week at the Barbasol Championship in Alabama, played opposite the 145th Open. He finished T-44 in his most recent start at the Barracuda Championship, and his last top-25 finish came at the Honda Classic in February.

Should Villegas withdraw, his Olympic spot would go to Mexico's Rodolfo Cazaubon, currently ranked No. 344 in the world.

The men's Olympic golf competition is scheduled for Aug. 11-14.
