Gerina Piller was at 6 under par and in contention during Round 2 of the Rio Olympic women’s competition. She then hit her tee shot on the par-3 17th into an impossible position behind the green.
The American managed a brilliant par there and saved par again on the 18th, to shoot 4-under 67 and stay within four shots of the 36-hole lead.
