John Daly revealed last week in an interview that Fuzzy Zoeller owed him some serious cash.
Why?
According to Daly, the two made a bet several years ago at the Masters that if Long John made it to his 50th birthday, Zoeller would pay him $150,000.
Fortunately for Zoeller’s bank account, they never shook on it.
“So I won’t hold him up to it,’’ Daly told USA Today. “I’ll just have him give me a free bottle of his vodka. That’s about it.”
Daly, Zoeller and Peter Jacobsen were grouped together for Daly’s PGA Tour Champions debut Friday, and Fuzzy paid up.
So it’s not the $150K originally wagered, but Fuzzy makes good on his bet that @PGA_JohnDaly wouldn’t make it to 50.https://t.co/w6dgfEE1p1 — Golf Channel (@GolfChannel) May 6, 2016
