With Tiger Woods missing the Masters for the first time since 1994, the top spot in the world rankings is officially up for grabs.

While Woods is still atop the standings entering this week, the three players directly behind him at Nos. 2-4 - Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson and Jason Day - can all overtake him with a high finish this week at the Masters.

Scott, the defending champion at Augusta National, will become No. 1 in the world with a two-way T-3 finish or better this week. He has not played since squandering a sizeable lead at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month, where he finished third.

Stenson won both the FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai titles last season, and can add world No. 1 to his credentials with a two-way tie for second or better this week. Stenson tied for 54th last week at the Shell Houston Open and has only one top-10 finish in six starts on the PGA Tour this season.

Day has not teed it up since winning the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in February, having withdrawn at both Doral and Bay Hill to nurse an injured left thumb. The Aussie will move to No. 1 with a win this week at Augusta National, provided that Scott is not alone in second place behind him.
