'The Bachelor' pursuing Scott for dating show

CBS Sports enjoyed its second-largest Masters viewing audience in the past 12 years, thanks (unofficially) to the millions of females who flocked to the nearest TV to catch a glimpse of the good-looking winner, Adam Scott. Finally, a grow-the-game initiative women can believe in.

Apparently, the 32-year-old Australian also caught the discerning eye of “The Bachelor” producer Robert Mills. He wants Scott to appear on the ABC show, flash that winning smile and, of course, find everlasting love.

Hey, a source even told E! News: “We are definitely going to pursue him. So far, no meeting has been set but we’re trying. He could be a perfect fit.”

Sure he could. Scott is smart and charming and humble and thoughtful. He's been romantically linked to actress Kate Hudson and tennis star Ana Ivanovic. He’s every mother’s son.

But he’s also no fool.

Come on: With or without a green jacket, Adam Scott knows he will have no problems on the dating scene.

Save your roses for someone else, ABC.
