MEDINAH, Ill. – Fans clamoring for a Tiger Woods-Rory McIlroy singles match at the Ryder Cup will have to wait two more years.
With the Americans ahead, 10-6, heading into the final session at Medinah, U.S. captain Davis Love III will send Woods out in the anchor match Sunday against Francesco Molinari, whom he beat, 4 and 3, in singles in 2010. McIlroy, meanwhile, goes off in Match No. 3 against Keegan Bradley, one of the revelations of this Ryder Cup, after his 3-0 performance in the team format.
