U.S. Open sectional qualifying: Oregon

Casey Martin, who in 1998 successfully sued for the right to ride a cart because of a circulatory condition in his right leg, was medalist at Emerald Valley, grabbing one of two available spots. Martin, who has been golf coach at Oregon for six years, will be joined by Daniel Miernicki or Nick Sherwood, who will play off for the other spot on Tuesday. The U.S. Open will take place June 14-17 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.
