Stop us if you’ve heard this before: to promote one of its golf-related products, Nike has produced a commercial centered around trick shots with lob wedges.
The latest ad, entitled ‘Nike RZN Trick Shot,’ features several of Nike’s top professional players treating a golf ball like a soccer ball, bouncing it back and forth between each other. Unlike the famous trick shot ad released more than a decade ago, though, the latest commercial does not feature the world’s No. 1 player – Tiger Woods.
Instead, the commercial begins and ends with the No. 2-ranked player in the world, Rory McIlroy. Other players featured in the 30-second commercial are Nick Watney, Paul Casey and Suzann Pettersen.
