Shooter McGavin joins Bills Mafia tailgate on Week 1

Tailgates for Buffalo Bills home games are becoming stuff of legend, featuring everything from table smashing to people lighting themselves on fire to weddings and now, apparently, Shooter McGavin.

The Bills Mafia, as they call themselves, had a special visitor for their home opener on Sunday against the New York Jets, actor Christopher McDonald, who most golf fans would recognize as the guy Happy Gilmore took down in the 1996 Tour Championship in an instant classic.

McDonald hung out and gave the people what they wanted on Sunday, posing for pictures and doing his famous Shooter pose. The photos popped up all over social media along with several of his signature phrases:

Shooter McGavin. “Stay out of my way, or you will pay, listen to what I say”. What a legend #happygilmore #shootermcgavin #heyboys #ohbigboys #buffalobills #shanties A post shared by drewcress (@drewcress) on Sep 11, 2017 at 7:02am PDT

It was cool bumping into shooter mcgavin today at the bills alumni party. Too bad I’m gonna have to beat his ass in the golf tourney tomorrow! #chokeonthatbabaahhh #happygilmore #GOBILLS A post shared by Brandon Fuentes (@bfuentes_24) on Sep 10, 2017 at 1:06pm PDT

The appearance sparked an opening victory for the Bills, which could be a sign of things to come, or could be a sign of the Jets being the Jets.
