Golf Club in Clearview Oh Designated National Historic Site

Clearview Golf Club in Clearview, Oh., has been designated an official national historic site.
The course is owned by William Powell, father of LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Renne Powell, and is the first course in the world designed, developed, built, operated and owned by an African American.
Clearview Golf Club was opened by Mr. Powell in 1948.
