VIENNA, Austria -- The first round of the Bank Austria GolfOpen was washed out by heavy rain.
The host course, Fontana Golf Club, was deemed unplayable due to heavy rain.
Tee times for the first two rounds will be as published. There was no word from officials as to whether the tournament will remain 72 holes or be shortened to 54.
The last event on the European Tour to be shortened to 54 holes was Italian Open in May 2007.
