What to watch: Texas we be trying to three-peat this spring, and the chances of that happening are good. Sophomore Kaitlyn Papp and freshman Hailee Cooper form a nice one-two punch atop the lineup. The Longhorns didn’t finish outside the top 4 in the fall and won their home tournament, the Betsy Rawls Invitational. … TCU started the fall slow in Vail, but won twice and was runner-up at the Battle at the Beach. … Oklahoma lost three seniors from last year, but Kaitlin Milligan is off to a strong start in her sophomore campaign. … Texas Tech might be ranked outside the top 50, but the Red Raiders have a real contender for the Big 12 individual title. Sofia Garcia had three top 10s during the fall, including a win.
Pick to win: Texas
