The college golf season is in full swing, with the 2014 NCAA Championships fast approaching on the horizon. Golf Channel’s Steve Burkowski and Ryan Lavner were joined recently by Golfweek’s Lance Ringler and Julie Williams, as the four discussed some of the key factors to the college season thus far, as well as their thoughts on the future of the sport.

With the men’s game as competitive as ever and the women preparing for the introduction of match-play format at the 2015 NCAAs, the panel shared their predictions for how the college landscape might change in the next 5-10 years, and also shared memories of Golfweek writer Ron Balicki, who passed away this week after covering college golf for more than three decades.
