Better late than never.

It seems Sergio Garcia and the Long Island locals have made amends after their infamous run-in at the 2002 U.S. Open, which featured heckling and vulgarity from both sides. Garcia showed up unannounced at Bethpage Black recently and brought truckloads of Taylormade’s new SLDR drivers with him, one for everyone at the course. He hit range balls, hung out on the first tee and even got a kiss for good luck from one excited lady.

Sure this was all a publicity stunt for TaylorMade, but it has taught us a valuable lesson: Time ... and a new driver, will settle most differences.
