Public invited to play Cog Hill like the PGA Tour players

Have you ever wanted to experience playing a golf course thats set up for the final round of a PGA Tour event? Cog Hill Golf and Country Club outside of Chicago is giving you that chance.

On Monday, September 14 ' the day after the BMW Championship ' the public is invited to play the newly-renovated, nationally-ranked Dubsdread course with the same pins the pros will see on Sunday.

For the amateur golfer its a rare opportunity to look at every green and honestly say, This is a Sunday pin.

Cog Hill, which hosts the third event in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, has hosted a PGA Tour event since 1991 and has also been the stage for a U.S. Amateur, two U.S. Men’s Amateur Public Links and one U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. The facility boasts a newly-renovated 35,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Play on September 14 will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Greens fee is $150 which includes cart, range balls and a laser range finder. To sign up, call 866-COG-HILL (866-264-4455).
