Paula Creamer saw an impressive streak come to an end Saturday at the LPGA’s Kingsmill Championship.
Creamer carded rounds of 73 and 72, and her 3-over total left her one shot outside the cut line in Williamsburg, where second-round play stretched into Saturday because of weather delays. It’s the first cut Creamer has missed in her last 82 starts, a streak that dates back to the 2010 Safeway Classic.
Yes I missed the cut..just couldn't get the job done....82 in a row not to shabby...#bummed however I am ready for @AirbusLPGA

Creamer failed to make a single birdie during her second round, instead making 17 pars and a single bogey. The 27-year-old has a pair of top-three finishes to her credit this season in addition to her win at the HSBC Women’s Champions in Thailand.
Creamer still has never missed a cut in a major as a professional, and her streak of playing the weekend at 37 consecutive majors currently ties her with Tiger Woods for the most all-time. She’ll have a chance to move past Woods’ mark next month at the U.S. Women’s Open at Pinehurst.
