James Hahn will wait a little bit longer to tee it up in his first WGC event.
A winner last month at the Northern Trust Open, Hahn earned a spot in this week’s WGC-Cadillac Championship, but he will not be among the limited field of 74 players at Trump National Doral - and with good reason. Tuesday Hahn tweeted a picture of his first child, a daughter who was born on Sunday:
Decided to WD from Doral. There is no place else I'd rather be than here. I need her more than she needs me. pic.twitter.com/azkCVPTIJv

Hahn, 33, notched the first win of his career in a playoff over Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey at Riviera. The top 10 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the Honda Classic were exempt into this week’s WGC event, and after play concluded Monday at PGA National Hahn hung on to the No. 10 spot in the standings.
Hahn has three top-25 finishes in 11 starts this season, and he will still have a spot in the field next month at the Masters by virtue of his NTO victory.
