Less than a week after enduring a freefall at the NFL Draft, this time it’s Johnny Manziel who’s doing the snubbing.

Manziel had originally planned to compete in this week’s pro-am for the Byron Nelson Championship, but that was always dependent on his post-draft availability - and he’s no longer available.

The 22nd pick to the Browns is scheduled to be in Cleveland this week, which means he won’t compete in the pro-am.

Asked about his golf game last year, Manziel said he’s “about a 5 or 10,” but doesn’t play enough to keep an official handicap. He reportedly shot 78 during a friendly round last week.
