Rory McIlroy may be off the market – again.
The world No. 3 proposed to his girlfriend Erica Stoll while in Paris, according to a report from the Irish Independent.
McIlroy and Stoll, 27, have been dating for about a year, and McIlroy posted a romantic picture of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram Wednesday.
Stoll, a former manager of championship volunteer operations for the PGA of America, famously saved McIlroy from missing his singles match at the 2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah.
McIlroy called off his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in May 2014, just months before their New York wedding. In a statement announcing the news, he said: “The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realize that I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails.”
McIlroy, coming off a four-win year, is not scheduled to return to competition until mid-January.
