Jimmy Walker has made plenty of friends in professional golf, winning five times before this week and playing on a couple of U.S. teams in international competition.
And those friends were ecstatic that Walker finally put it all together on a major stage, going wire to wire at the PGA Championship.
While runner-up Jason Day and his family congratulated Walker on the 18th green, other fellow pros took to social media to congratulate their friend on a job well done:
