Patrick Reed is comfortable playing on Mondays, and he certainly has a flair for the dramatic.
Those two traits came together at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions to give Patrick Reed his fourth PGA Tour victory.
Two shots behind then-leader Jimmy Walker, Reed on the 16th hole took dead aim at the flagstick from 83 yards.
The eagle-2 advanced Reed to 21 under for the championship and into a tie with Walker.
Following a bogey at the 17th and a birdie at the 18th, Reed would advance to post a playoff with Walker, where he would best his Ryder Cup teammate with another birdie on 18.
