SAN FRANCISCO – Just wandered down the 18th . . . um, 15th fairway at Harding Park. Great hole with Lake Merced on the left and corporate tents to the right. The PGA Tour changed the muni’s lineup with hopes most matches would make it to the scenic finisher.
Let’s hope the 18th . . . um, 15th is where matches end, however. It’s a heck of a walk from the faux 17th (normally the seventh hole) to the faux 18th (normally the ninth). And if you’re confused, you’re not alone.
