PARKER, Colo. – Both Solheim Cup captains plan to play all 12 members of their respective teams on Day 1.

Gerina Piller, Brittany Lincicome, Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson are all sitting out the morning foursomes session for the U.S. Carlota Ciganda, Charley Hull, Guilia Sergas and Caroline Masson are sitting for Europe.

“That’s our goal,” U.S. captain Meg Mallon said. “The thing is we have to have our afternoon pairings in an hour before the first tee time, so hopefully we’ll see enough golf in the morning to stick with our afternoon times.”

Said European captain Liselotte Neumann: “Same for us. I would love to see all the players on the golf course tomorrow. I want them to feel that they’re part of the team. And at this moment everybody’s playing so well that I couldn’t even really pick a player that I want to sit out.”
