Heavy rains in the Atlanta area have left East Lake, site of this week’s Tour Championship, a muddy mess. As a result, the golf course and practice range will be closed to player practice until 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday when officials will re-evaluate course conditions.
Tiger Woods (2007) and Vijay Singh (2008) rained on the first two editions of the FedEx Cup finale, having mathematically locked up the title before players even arrived in Atlanta. Now it seems Mother Nature is taking her turn.
