Apparently, Rory vs. Tiger was so January.

In a new Nike commercial, McIlroy instead goes 1-on-1 on the golf course with Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, who uses not a new set of sticks but the new Ordem football. Use your imagination.

It’s another solid acting job from McIlroy, who has been featured in several ads since his highly publicized switch to Nike.

This was the shoot, you might recall, that forced McIlroy to miss Graeme McDowell’s wedding in the Bahamas.
