Justin Rose has been nominated for the 2013 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
The U.S. Open champion is one of 10 nominees for the award, which will be handed out Sunday, Dec. 15.
Tennis player and Wimbledon champion Andy Murray figures to be the favorite for the award, but also nominated were sailor Ben Ainsile, cricketer Ian Bell, athletes Hannah Cockroft, Mo Farah and Christine Ohurogu, cyclist Chris Froome, rugby player Leigh Halfpenny and jockey AP McCoy.
Rory McIlroy was among those nominated for the 2012 award, which eventually went to Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins.
