NORTON, Mass. – Tiger Woods may have a new partner in the Presidents Cup.
Steve Stricker said he would like to play with Woods.
“I think it would work great,” Stricker said. “I could ride him all the way.
“We’ve talked about it. It would be up to Freddie [Couples] to see if he’ll put us together or not, but I think we’d have a lot of fun
Jim Furyk has proved another good pairing for Woods, and Couples, the U.S. captain, said it’s a pairing Furyk wants when the Americans meet the Internationals Oct. 8-11 at Harding Park in San Francisco.
