ATLANTA – Much has been made of Steve Stricker’s “part-time” schedule this season, the Tour Championship will be his 13th start of 2013. But his line up isn’t that far removed from Tiger Woods’ normal docket.

East Lake will be Woods’ 16th start this season and he’s played more than that just twice in the last eight seasons, but the world No. 1 said he can see the difference in his friend’s play this season.

“For Steve, I think that for him he’s done it long enough where he just wanted to tone it down and be more with his family, and I think that has got him more refreshed and more focused,” Woods said.
